What was needed

Hilton Grand Vacations, a division of Hilton Worldwide, is a leading operator and manager of brand name, high-quality vacation ownership resorts around the world.

Normally, their members would be able to view the resort portfolio in a printed book, but for 2013, Hilton wanted to go digital and put the entire book online.

What we delivered

We chose WordPress as a platform for this project since we knew that it was that training existing employees, and new employees in the years to come, needed to be an automatic process. Delivering a hand-made CMS would have delivered a more focused experience, but not necessarily a more user-friendly experience for non-technical people.

We developed a series of custom extensions to provide the necessary functionality for the HGV staff to maintain their resort portfolio. This includes managing data as simple as photographs, to data as complex as the point value tables that define how many points a member needs to stay at a particular resort at a particular time of year.
